Fluent version 12.1.4 has been installed and tested on Mana. This version is now the default. If you want to use version 12.0.6 you will need to load the module for that version. The command is "module load fluent12.0.16". There is also a fluent script to generate your PBS submit script for you. The command is fluent_batch. Just put your fluent files in a workspace directory, issue the command "fluent_batch", answer the questions and your PBS script will be created and job submitted.

The Intel compilers will be updated on the MHPCC Mana system.

During the April 28, 2010 maintenance period, the Intel C/Fortran 11.1.072, MKL 10.2.5.035 and their respective modules intel/11.1.072 and mkl/10.2.5.035 will be installed.

During the May 12, 2010, maintenance period, the Intel C/Fortran 11.1.046, MKL mkl/10.2.1.017 and their respective modules intel/11.1.046 and mkl/10.2.1.017 will be removed.

The default version after May 12, 2010 will be intel/11.1.064

It is opportune timing, coinciding with the upcoming maintenance periods.

A recompile is ONLY needed if you were using the oldest intel version or wish to try out the new intel/11.1.072 version.

The MHPCC Mana system will initiate the Baseline Configuration policy of the 14 day purge on the $WORKDIR directory. All files and directories in your $WORKDIR that have a date greater than 14 days will be deleted.

This purge will run daily and delete all data that meets this criteria. This policy has been in place but not initiated.

This purge will start on February 16, 2010. You many want to check your $WORKDIR and move any data to $ARCHIVE_HOME that you want to retain that is 14 days old or greater.
